Wine Tasting Association's Spring Wine Festival
(DC) $40 - 60
Occasionally, we list events from
other wine organizations. We wanted to let you know
about the Spring Wine Festival from our friend,
Mark Phillips, at the Wine Tasting Association.
See WTA's site for full details and to sign up.
The Spring Wine Festival is one of
the best wine tasting values in Washington every
year. Taste over 150 wines from around the world
for $35! This is a walk around event where sales
reps pour the wines so you can learn about the wines
as you taste. And even better, all the wines are
offered for sale at low one-day only prices. It's
a great time to stock up for your summer BBQs, pool
parties and trips to the beach. Casual attire.
Volunteers needed. Folks that want
to volunteer should send an email to volunteer@winetasting.org
The VIP portion of the event sells
out every year so don't dilly dally. VIPs arrive
one hour before the rest of the folks to taste over
50 expensive wines that are not included in the
Grand Tasting. VIPs also receive a Mark Philips
Wine Glass, a $20 value. Wow, depending on how you
look at it, you're getting all the expensive wines
or the glass for free!
Must be 21 and please make reservations
in advance.
